The course offers interdisciplinary training with in-depth knowledge in the biological and chemical fields, concerning the structure and properties of biological macromolecules, as well as the molecular mechanisms underlying physiological processes and diseases. A graduate in Advanced Biotechnologies also possesses a high level of mastery in studying and manipulating biological systems of interest. The customization of the study plan through the inclusion of elective courses allows students to build their own personal repertoire of knowledge, which they experiment with during laboratory activities and thesis work.
The degree program participates in the LM Plus Master's Degrees Project.
