Opportunities Abroad

The University of Pavia offers various mobility programs abroad.

Whether you are enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Single-cycle Master's Degree, first or second-level Master’s, PhD, or specialization school, there are many opportunities to spend a period abroad, both for study and for internships.

The distinction between a Master’s Degree and a Master in the Italian academic system is important for understanding academic progression and mobility options:

  • Master (Master di I o II livello): This is a postgraduate specialization program, which can be first-level (following a Bachelor’s Degree) or second-level (following a Master’s Degree). These programs focus on professional training and do not grant access to PhD studies.

This distinction affects the recognition of qualifications and eligibility for international mobility opportunities.

Blended Intensive Programs

Free Mover Mobility
If you are not part of any mobility program funded by the University of Pavia, you can independently plan a stay abroad as a Free Mover and still obtain academic recognition for the activities carried out abroad.
