The University of Pavia is a member of the following international networks:

The European University Association is the largest and most representative association of universities in Europe. It is made up of 850 members from 47 different countries. EUA promotes the exchange of best practices, participation in conferences and international projects, offering its members the opportunity to influence European policies in the field of higher education and research.

Founded in 1985 and based in Brussels, it is an association of excellence that brings together the oldest multidisciplinary universities in Europe. CG aims to create academic and cultural links between its members in order to promote internationalization, academic cooperation, excellence in research and teaching, and the third mission of universities. Another goal of CG is to influence European policies and develop and exchange best practices at the international level.

EUF - Campus Europae (short name: Campus Europae) is a European network aimed at promoting high-quality student mobility and contributing to the formation of a generation of European graduates with an inherent understanding of Europe's unity in diversity. It works closely with universities, policymakers, and other stakeholders to improve European higher education.

UNIMED, Union of Mediterranean Universities, founded in October 1991, is an association of universities from countries bordering the Mediterranean Basin. UNIMED has 103 member universities from 23 countries on both shores of the Mediterranean. Its aim is to promote university research and education in the Euro-Mediterranean region to contribute to scientific, cultural, social, and economic cooperation.

gE is a professional network for the Erasmus generation that aims to improve the lives of people who have had study or work experiences abroad through the Erasmus program, enabling them to access opportunities that can make their careers more impactful for the European community. gE pursues its mission through the meeting of international job demand and supply, fostering social initiatives and helping the creation of new startups.

The International Student Exchange Program is a network of over 300 universities and colleges in 50 different countries that promotes international student mobility. Within ISEP, UNIPV exchanges students every year with universities in the United States, funding scholarships each year.

LEO-NET is a network of higher education institutions founded in 1999 in Maastricht. The LEO-NET community includes representatives from international offices, mobility consortia, career services, and student counseling services. The goal of LEO-NET is to promote the connection between the world of work and students and recent graduates.

The Euro-Mediterranean University is an association of universities based in Piran, Slovenia, founded in 2008 with the aim of creating a Euro-Mediterranean space for knowledge and research.

The Italian University Consortium for Argentina, founded in 2002, is a consortium of Italian universities promoting cooperation with universities and research centers in Argentina. CUIA supports joint projects and research, third-level mobility, intensive courses, workshops, and other activities between Italy and Argentina.

SISTERR – The Pavese Territorial System for International Cooperation is a second-level social promotion association, established in 2014 with the aim of promoting sustainable human development, solidarity, and international cooperation through the implementation of synergies between these entities, positioning itself within the national and international context of decentralized cooperation.

CUCS – The University Coordination for Development Cooperation is promoted by the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) and currently consists of more than 30 Italian universities that believe they are called to play an innovative and concrete role in enhancing international cooperation for sustainable development.

SAR is an international network of universities founded in 1999 at the University of Chicago to promote academic freedom and protect scholars whose lives are at risk or whose work is severely compromised. SAR is currently part of the Network for Education and Academic Rights (NEAR) and the Scholars Rescue Fund (SRF) – Institute of International Education (IIE). It currently includes 450 universities in 40 countries. The University of Pavia is part of the Italian section of Scholars at Risk. SAR Italy operates through information sharing, exchanging best practices, collaborating in protection and advocacy activities, and organizing awareness-raising events.

The European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes is a leading European network in the field of development studies. With more than 100 institutional members in over 25 countries, it organizes activities and provides platforms for networking and international exchanges, with a strong interdisciplinary focus. Professor Maria Sassi from the Department of Economics and Business has been appointed Country Representative for Italy.
