Erasmus+ Interinstitutional Agreements

erasmus +

It is an agreement signed between two higher education institutions that hold the ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education). It outlines the mobility activities to be carried out, specifying the number of students and/or staff, the academic areas, and the duration of the mobility.

Without this agreement, it is not possible to carry out Erasmus+ mobility.

Proposal for a New Erasmus+ Agreement for Study Mobility - IIA

Proposal

Faculty members who wish to propose the activation of a new Erasmus agreement can complete the following form by November 15th of each year.

IIA for Student Exchange

  • Carefully assess with a foreign colleague the comparability of the study programs in which student mobility will be activated in order to ensure their eligibility for the courses and academic recognition in terms of credits, and work to ensure that the agreement is genuinely bilateral and therefore attractive for students of the University of Pavia.
  • Define the academic area of the exchange (ISCED UNESCO codes - explanation of ISCED codes), the level of the exchange (1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycle), the number of outgoing students, and the duration of student mobility.
  • Inform the Delegate for International Mobility of your Area.

IIA for Faculty Exchange

It is possible to activate an Erasmus+ agreement for faculty mobility solely for teaching activities at the foreign institution (minimum 2 days, minimum 8 hours of teaching), which can later be followed by student mobility.

Activation of Agreements via Erasmus Without Paper

Once all necessary details have been defined, it will be the responsibility of the UOC International Mobility Office to coordinate with the foreign institution to determine which of the two universities will enter the data on the platform first. The agreement will be considered concluded after the signature of both institutions. If the foreign university does not yet have access to the EWP platform, it may request a paper-based agreement. In this case, the agreement must be completed, signed, stamped, and dated by both institutions. Scanned signatures are permitted.
