Online Language Support
A specific goal of the Erasmus+ program is to promote language learning and linguistic diversity.
The Online Language Support (OLS) is a learning and monitoring system created by the European Commission to facilitate and improve the language skills of participants in mobility programs.
With OLS, you can assess and track your current language level during your time abroad.
Higher education students participating in a mobility action lasting at least 14 days can evaluate their language skills before departure to ensure they meet the recommended level required by their host institution.
The results of the assessment do not prevent participation in Erasmus+ and do not replace official language certifications or university language test results.
You can access the online courses completely for free through the EU Academy:
- Register independently on the platform.
- Verify your account.
- Access the placement test for the language you are interested in.
Tip: You can more easily access the test by typing "placement test" in the website's search bar and clicking on the corresponding result.
Remember that you will need to take the test again upon your return.
