The University of Pavia, as part of WP7 ‘Aerospace for Heritage and Innovation’ of the TNE HerIT4Future project, organised the ASC launch days on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing for Earth Observation’.

The ASC launch days will be held in Cordoba, at CONAE's Teofilo Tabanera Centre and online on 8 and 9 October.
The course will continue online with two hours every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm Italian time from the following week until the end of January, ending in person in Pavia in the first week of February.
Registration to participate in online lessons and educational activities starting Wednesday, 15 October, is open to a maximum of 60 people. You can register for the course free of charge using the following form: link.
Six people will be selected from among those registered (students/researchers/teachers) from South American universities participating in the HerIT4Future project (link here: https://herit4future.it/) and will be awarded flights and accommodation for 7 days in Pavia to participate in the final week of the course.
Only those who actively participate in at least 75% of the course lectures and exercises are eligible.
The rest of the students will still be able to participate in the final week's activities online. If they actively participate in at least 75% of the course lectures and exercises, they will receive a certificate of attendance.
