Preparation and language tests

Knowledge of at least one foreign language is a key element for participation in mobility programs.

By participating in the Erasmus+ Study and Overseas Exchange programs, you must demonstrate that you meet the language proficiency level required by the institutions for which you have applied.

If you do not fall under any exemption cases, registration for the tests is mandatory, and simply submitting an application to the call is not enough.

Passing the language test is essential to be assigned to one of your chosen destinations, but it does not automatically guarantee acceptance by the host institution.

It is your responsibility to carefully check the websites of the foreign universities, where the language requirements are specified, including any international language certification (IELTS, TOEFL, DELE, DELF, etc.).

Some institutions with multiple languages of instruction restrict course registration to those holding the corresponding language certificate/test.

It is also your responsibility to verify the availability of a sufficient academic offering in your language of competence at the destination institution.

The University Language Center offers online preparatory activities, including lessons and test simulations, via the Kiro Learning platform (access with university credentials).
