Regulations on International Mobility

At the session of the Academic Senate held on September 20, 2021, the University of Pavia approved the "Regulations on International Mobility."

The objectives of these regulations are to:

  • Undertake actions to promote and facilitate international mobility for students regularly enrolled in first-, second-, and third-cycle degree programs, as well as for staff, including researchers, teaching staff, and technical-administrative staff. This is to be achieved within the framework of mobility programs and active partnerships with international institutions, through dedicated periodic calls for applications providing comprehensive and transparent information on participation requirements, selection criteria, and available funding opportunities.

  • Ensure the proper recognition of activities carried out during the international mobility period, guaranteeing their transparent inclusion in the student’s academic record; promote the recognition of teaching and training activities undertaken by teaching staff and technical-administrative staff.

  • Support language preparation for both outgoing and incoming mobility and encourage its improvement to enhance the quantity and quality of mobility initiatives.

  • Organize services aimed at welcoming incoming mobility participants and providing support to students, teaching staff, and technical-administrative staff undertaking outgoing mobility.

  • Promote, support, and encourage the University’s participation in mobility programs, international projects, and networks of excellence in education and research, while regularly monitoring the results.
