Erasmus Policy Statement

The Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) is a document that summarizes the university's internationalization strategy and is carefully evaluated during the process of awarding the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.

The EPS outlines how an institution plans to implement the Erasmus program, the goals it aims to achieve through participation in its various actions, and how the achievement of these goals fits into its short- and medium-term internationalization strategy.

The EPS of the University of Pavia for the 2021-2027 period identifies six specific objectives:

1. Strengthening the international dimension in academic and educational activities.
2. Developing a territorial network for innovation to benefit the employability of students and graduates.
3. Simplifying and digitalizing administrative processes related to the implementation of the Erasmus program.
4. Strengthening the university's presence in international networks.
5. Promoting good practices related to environmental sustainability.
6. Developing inclusion in mobility initiatives for participants from disadvantaged backgrounds.
