ISEP Exchange
The University of Pavia is part of the ISEP exchange network, which offers students the opportunity to study in around 200 destinations worldwide.
The program opens once a year: in January for departures in the 2nd semester of the following academic year.
Destinations
Students can choose from both European and non-European destinations within the ISEP network, ensuring they meet the requirements set by each university.
To view all available destinations, open the Map of Participating Universities and use the "ISEP Exchange" filter in addition to the geographic, language level, and field of study filters.
In the ISEP application, it is not possible to indicate preferred destinations; instead, students must select the single destination: Worldwide ISEP. The list of destinations will be communicated directly to ISEP at a later stage of the selection process.
It is also important to consult the placement probability, which is updated each semester to check the competitiveness of access to certain universities. ISEP strives to match placements according to the student's preference list, but this cannot be guaranteed. Students can choose universities in different countries, as long as they meet the language requirements specified for each destination.
After the closing of the Overseas Exchange Programme call, a ranking list for the ISEP Exchange Program is prepared in the following weeks.
The names of the selected students are submitted to the network for final placement. ISEP's placement criteria include the number of available spots at individual universities and the availability of courses in the student's field of study.
If ISEP is unable to assign one of the destinations indicated by the student, an alternative placement that aligns with the student's academic profile will be proposed.
It is important to note that the assignment of one of the student's chosen universities is NOT AUTOMATIC nor GUARANTEED. Therefore, it is crucial to consider the placement probability list when selecting universities. After the Placement Process is completed, the student will be informed by email from the UOC International Mobility Office.
